TINT Iinternship

TINT seeks an arts organiser/professional to assist in the co-ordination of an artist run collective. Would suit new graduate with a desire to become part of an innovative arts organisation.

REQUIREMENTS

The chosen individual will be able to offer at least 8 hours a week (this is flexible in time and location to suit other commitments) they will be integral in the growth of the organisation as it moves into the next stages of development.

Skills and resources necessary for the role:

-       An Interest in contemporary art and new media
-       Pro-active attitude
-       Strong Literacy skills
-       Own computer & access to the Internet

There will be a varied amount of tasks required in assisting the two co-directors, these could include any of the following:

-       Locating venues and resources
-       Sourcing and assisting with applying for funding
-       Seeking and developing new opportunities for TINT and its contributors.
-       Marketing
-       Assisting with the organisation of further events
-       Working with artists, curators and venues

To date funding has not been required but this will be one of our main aims to promote and grow TINT further. Currently no financial support can be offered however with future developments and successful funding applications we aim for this to be a paid position.
