Launching in October 2010, the aim of this residency is to provide an opportunity for an exceptional early or mid-career artist to absorb the practical potential of new technologies, network with specialist practitioners, have regular time and space to experiment and develop their own work, benefit from critical discussion with a dedicated advisory group of [...] Scientists use an abstract language of signs to visualize and explain the invisible forces, relationshops and processes which make up our world.
